A mourning ring like no other. This spectacular chain link ring features a glass compartment where the hair of a loved one has been stored. Mourning pieces were made highly sought after during the Victorian era after Queen Victoria mourned for her beloved Albert. 
They are even till this day and age very controversial with many finding them quite shocking or ghastly. My opinion is that these are some of the most special and intimate pieces one can acquire. The fact they can live on and be worn 100 years after they have been made is very poignant and makes me very emotional. Someone being remembered after all that time.
