A rare and beautifully preserved art nouveau locket brooch set in rich and vibrant 15ct buttery yellow gold (the photos are completely accurate...it really is that yellow!).
The front features a highly detailed engraved portrait of a young lady an iconic image of the art nouveau period. The last wears a diamond collared necklace and a centre starburst diamond upon her chest.
Her hair is whimsical and curly, a beautiful piece which is highly sought after in the antique world. Can be worn as a brooch or added to a chain through the back of the link to make a lovely pendant.
The locket is functional and has room inside to store your favourite tiny treasures. It is largely stamped 15CT in the centre of the inside of the locket. The piece has been tested and the pin is also 15ct gold.
This is a gorgeous piece as it is but could also be converted into the most fabulous and decadent locket ring with the help of a local jeweller.
